Seasons
By Alec Wilson

Same stars but less sky
No sign of movement; I have
not seen the moon yet
Shed my winter drab
Springtime scents bring life and sense
Sweet pocket of time

Celestial sighs
uncover the tired moon
from my cloud of smoke

Blades of grass shimmer
Dancing in the playful rays
of the summer light

A golden leaf falls
The delicate descent of
autumn’s final tear
